TechTree Platform Terms of Service
Effective Date: 20th May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the TechTree platform, products, services, software, AI systems, workflows, databases, APIs, outreach systems, analytics tools, dashboards, recruitment infrastructure, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
The Platform is operated by:

By registering for, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Section 2 — Full Terms of Service
Talent Partner Terms
1. Joining and Using the TechTree Platform
TechTree operates an AI-enabled recruitment marketplace and hiring infrastructure platform connecting:
- Companies;
- Talent Partners;
- Candidates;
- recruiters;
- hiring teams;
- and recruitment workflows.
The Platform enables:
- candidate sourcing;
- outreach;
- recruitment analytics;
- AI-assisted matching;
- screening;
- hiring collaboration;
- and recruitment process management.
TechTree personnel and internal recruitment teams may also access and use the Platform for:
- operational purposes;
- moderation;
- support;
- recruitment workflows;
- analytics;
- compliance;
- and quality assurance.
"External Users" means Companies, Talent Partners, consultants, contractors, recruiters, hiring managers, or other third parties accessing the Platform outside TechTree's internal teams.
TechTree reserves the right to:
- modify Platform functionality;
- introduce or remove features;
- restrict access;
- update workflows;
- or discontinue services at any time.
2. Sourcing, Outreach and Screening Activities
Talent Partners may:
- source candidates;
- engage with candidates;
- conduct outreach;
- conduct screening interviews;
- introduce hiring companies;
- refer candidates;
- and participate in recruitment workflows.
Talent Partners agree to:
- act professionally;
- communicate honestly;
- maintain accurate records;
- avoid misleading conduct;
- comply with Platform processes.
TechTree may monitor activity for:
- compliance;
- quality assurance;
- fraud prevention;
- operational optimisation;
- attribution management.
3. Candidate Ownership and Attribution
First-Mover Ownership
The first Talent Partner to introduce, source, upload, refer, or otherwise surface a Candidate to TechTree shall be deemed the "Source Talent Partner".
The Source Talent Partner retains sourcing ownership across:
- all future roles;
- future applications;
- placements;
- internal matching;
- and recruitment processes.
Sourcing Fee Tiers
New Candidate – 20%
Applies where the Candidate:
- was not previously known to TechTree;
- had no prior Platform engagement;
- originated directly from the Talent Partner's own network.
Warm Candidate – 10%
Applies where the Candidate:
- was previously known;
- previously screened;
- internally matched;
- previously contacted;
- or self-applied following outreach activity.
TechTree shall determine attribution using:
- ATS records;
- tracking links;
- outreach history;
- communication logs;
- timestamps;
- operational records.
Duplicate Candidate Rules
Same Role
Duplicate submissions may be blocked.
Different Role
Applications may proceed while original sourcing ownership remains unchanged.
Self-Applications
Where Candidates apply through:
- LinkedIn;
- job boards;
- referral links;
- application forms;
- or outreach campaigns,
Ownership follows the outreach trail.
Priority:
- First positive response
- Otherwise most recent active outreacher
Attribution Disputes
Disputes must be raised within fourteen (14) days of:
- placement notification; or
- attribution notification.
TechTree's determination shall be final.
4. Revenue Share, Payments and Fees
Talent Partners may receive revenue share for:
- sourcing;
- screening;
- referrals;
- contractor placements;
- company introductions.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Talent Partner revenue share becomes fully payable three (3) calendar months following the Candidate's employment or engagement start date, provided:
- the client has paid TechTree in full;
- no refund, rebate, replacement, or dispute applies;
- and the placement remains active.
TechTree may, at its sole discretion, elect to release partial or early payments before this period expires.
Any early payment does not waive TechTree's rights relating to:
- refunds;
- clawbacks;
- attribution corrections;
- payment adjustments;
- or disputes.
No minimum earnings or placement volume are guaranteed.
TechTree may:
- offset overpayments;
- recover rebates;
- correct operational errors;
- recover unpaid balances.
5. Outreach Automation and Platform Permissions
Where Talent Partners connect outreach or social accounts to the Platform, they authorise TechTree to:
- create outreach campaigns;
- send outreach communications;
- manage messaging;
- respond to candidates;
- optimise outreach workflows.
Talent Partners may revoke access at any time.
TechTree is not responsible for:
- LinkedIn restrictions;
- email provider limitations;
- reduced reach;
- account suspensions;
- third-party platform enforcement actions.
6. Professional Representation and Approved Titles
Where Talent Partners conduct screening or automated outreach, professional profiles used for Platform activity must clearly reflect association with TechTree.
Approved titles include:
- Talent Partner
- Consultant
- Talent Advisor
- Advisor
- Member
Users may not use misleading affiliations or titles.
7. Talent Partner Responsibilities
Talent Partners agree to:
- act lawfully;
- avoid spam or deceptive conduct;
- protect confidential information;
- comply with applicable laws;
- avoid discriminatory practices;
- maintain accurate records.
Talent Partners remain independent contractors and are solely responsible for:
- taxes;
- insurance;
- legal compliance;
- business operations.
Nothing in these Terms creates:
- employment;
- partnership;
- worker status;
- agency relationships.
8. Company Introductions and Referral Revenue
Talent Partners introducing companies to TechTree may receive revenue share based on:
- net client revenue collected;
- attribution records;
- commercial agreements.
Referral revenue may continue for twelve (12) months following introduction activity.
9. Candidate Protection and Duplicate Submissions
Candidates introduced through the Platform remain protected for twelve (12) months from:
- introduction;
- outreach engagement;
- screening activity;
- submission;
- application activity.
Users may not:
- circumvent attribution systems;
- avoid fees;
- bypass Platform workflows.
Company Terms
10. Hiring Through TechTree
Companies may use the Platform to:
- identify candidates;
- manage recruitment processes;
- coordinate interviews;
- review analytics;
- collaborate with Talent Partners.
11. Access to Candidate Profiles and Recruitment Data
Companies may access:
- CVs;
- candidate data;
- outreach metrics;
- screening metrics;
- response analytics;
- hiring dashboards;
- candidate career data points;
- contact information.
Access levels may vary depending on:
- subscription;
- permissions;
- enterprise access rights;
- commercial agreements.
12. Candidate Usage Restrictions and Non-Circumvention
Companies may only use Candidate information for legitimate hiring activity connected to Platform recruitment workflows.
Companies may not:
- scrape data;
- export databases;
- build external talent pools;
- train AI systems using Platform data;
- share candidate data externally;
- bypass Platform protections.
13. Hiring Fees, Contractor Engagements and Payment Terms
Commercial terms may be governed by:
- order forms;
- invoices;
- pricing schedules;
- enterprise agreements.
Fees may apply to:
- permanent hires;
- contractor engagements;
- consulting arrangements;
- referral-based hires;
- future engagements of protected Candidates.
Late payment may result in:
- restricted access;
- suspension;
- recovery actions.
14. Candidate Protection Periods
Protected Candidates remain subject to applicable fees for twelve (12) months from most recent engagement activity.
15. Recruitment Analytics and Platform Metrics
The Platform may provide:
- outreach metrics;
- response rates;
- recruiter performance analytics;
- screening conversion metrics;
- AI-generated insights;
- engagement analytics.
Metrics are informational only and may:
- evolve;
- contain delays;
- change over time.
16. Company Responsibilities
Companies agree to:
- comply with applicable law;
- avoid unlawful discrimination;
- protect Candidate information;
- maintain confidentiality;
- comply with employment obligations.
Companies remain solely responsible for:
- hiring decisions;
- onboarding;
- compensation;
- employment compliance;
- right-to-work verification.
Candidate Terms
17. Candidate Applications and Platform Participation
By:
- applying to a role;
- submitting information;
- uploading a CV;
- responding to outreach;
- or engaging with TechTree,
Candidates acknowledge and agree that:
- their information may be processed by TechTree;
- their information may be shared with Companies;
- AI-assisted systems may analyse their profile;
- recruitment workflows may involve Talent Partners;
- their data may be retained for future opportunities;
- TechTree may contact them regarding relevant opportunities.
18. Candidate Data Processing and Recruitment Activity
TechTree may process Candidate information for:
- recruitment operations;
- candidate matching;
- outreach;
- analytics;
- screening;
- hiring workflows;
- service improvement;
- fraud prevention;
- compliance.
Candidates acknowledge that AI-assisted systems may:
- analyse profiles;
- rank opportunities;
- recommend roles;
- assist recruiters and hiring teams.
Final hiring decisions are always made by human decision-makers.
19. Candidate Rights and Deletion Requests
Individuals may request:
- access to personal data;
- correction of inaccurate data;
- deletion of personal data;
- restriction of processing;
- portability of data;
- withdrawal of consent where applicable.
Requests may be submitted to:

TechTree may retain certain information where necessary for:
- legal obligations;
- fraud prevention;
- dispute resolution;
- attribution tracking;
- enforcement of agreements;
- regulatory compliance;
- legitimate business interests.
General Platform Terms
20. AI Systems, Automation and Recommendations
TechTree uses AI systems to assist with:
- matching;
- ranking;
- outreach prioritisation;
- workflow automation;
- analytics;
- candidate recommendations.
AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and informational in nature.
The Platform is designed to support — not replace — human decision-making.
21. Data Protection, Privacy and GDPR Compliance
TechTree processes personal data in accordance with:
- UK GDPR;
- EU GDPR (where applicable);
- UK Data Protection Act 2018;
- applicable privacy laws.
TechTree's Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
Personal data may be processed internationally where appropriate safeguards exist.
22. EU AI Act Transparency and Human Oversight
Users acknowledge that certain Platform features involve:
- AI-assisted recommendations;
- predictive analytics;
- algorithmic ranking;
- automated processing.
TechTree implements reasonable measures designed to:
- maintain human oversight;
- reduce bias;
- support lawful recruitment practices.
23. Confidentiality
Users must not disclose confidential information relating to:
- Candidates;
- Companies;
- Talent Partners;
- pricing;
- workflows;
- technology;
- Platform operations.
Confidentiality obligations survive termination.
24. Intellectual Property and Platform Ownership
All Platform systems, software, AI systems, branding, databases, analytics, workflows, and related intellectual property remain the property of TechTree or its licensors.
Users may not:
- reverse engineer;
- replicate;
- scrape;
- commercially exploit;
- create competing systems.
25. Reviews, Ratings and Feedback
TechTree may enable:
- reviews;
- ratings;
- quality scoring;
- operational feedback systems.
Feedback may be used for:
- trust and safety;
- quality assurance;
- service improvement.
26. Platform Rules and Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- engage in spam;
- upload malicious code;
- misuse Candidate data;
- interfere with Platform operations;
- manipulate attribution systems;
- misrepresent information.
27. Restricted AI Usage and Data Scraping
Users may not use Platform data or outputs to:
- train AI systems;
- enrich external databases;
- build competing products;
- automate scraping;
- conduct unauthorised extraction.
28. Content, Communications and Operational Notices
Operational communications may occur through:
- Platform notifications;
- email;
- Slack;
- ATS systems;
- integrated communications.
Such communications constitute valid operational notice.
29. Suspension, Restriction and Termination
TechTree may suspend or terminate access where:
- misuse occurs;
- fraud is suspected;
- these Terms are breached;
- legal risk arises.
Users may stop using the Platform at any time.
30. Complaints, Disputes and Attribution Challenges
Users should raise complaints or disputes promptly through designated support channels.
TechTree reserves the right to:
- investigate disputes;
- review attribution records;
- issue operational determinations.
31. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
TechTree does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted access;
- hiring outcomes;
- AI accuracy;
- candidate availability;
- data accuracy.
32. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechTree shall not be liable for:
- indirect loss;
- lost profits;
- hiring outcomes;
- AI inaccuracies;
- third-party platform restrictions;
- operational interruptions.
TechTree's total liability shall not exceed fees paid to TechTree during the twelve (12) months preceding the relevant claim.
33. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify TechTree against claims arising from:
- misuse of the Platform;
- unlawful conduct;
- privacy breaches;
- intellectual property infringement;
- violations of these Terms.
34. Changes to these Terms
TechTree may modify these Terms at any time to:
- reflect changes to the Platform;
- comply with legal or regulatory requirements;
- improve operational processes;
- introduce new services or features.
Updated Terms may be communicated through:
- Platform notifications;
- email;
- website publication;
- onboarding flows;
- operational notices.
Continued use of the Platform following updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
35. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
36. Miscellaneous
If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding Platform usage.
37. Digital Acceptance and Electronic Signatures
Electronic acceptance, click-through registration, digital onboarding, or continued Platform use constitutes legally binding acceptance of these Terms.
